30 lessons of italian; Monday - Friday
The CILS exam (Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera) is a certification offered by the Università per Stranieri di Siena for foreign speakers of Italian.
The levels delineate language proficiencies from beginner to advanced. Each CILS level (1-6) is complete in itself and certifies a specific level of communication appropriate for social, professional and academic settings.
To obtain the Certificate for one of the six levels it is necessary to pass all five parts of the exam: listening test, reading comprehension, use of the Italian language or metalanguage, written test, and speaking test.
The private tuition will provide the student with the necessary preparation in both the theoretical and practical use of the language so that he can achieve the level desired. The training will prepare the student for each aspect of the test: comprehension, writing and speaking.
The lessons take place Monday - Friday from 9.10 – 12.50 in the Morning. The additional individual lessons Tuesday – Friday from 14.00 – 16.05 complete the course’s 30 lesson program. |

Student opinion
My Italian lessons were very intensive, very varied and great fun, with plenty of opportunity to practise spoken Italian. The standard of teaching, generally at the school, is very high.
