Our info desk has prepared a booklet with details on points of interest such as where to eat, shop and how to move and live in the city of Florence. Information is provided on the popular night spots as well as Florence’s transportation system, supermarkets, gym halls, medical services etc . . .

Student card

The EUROPASS Student Card allows you discounts at local restaurants, shops, sporting centers, theatres and various festivals and events.

Library and video library

A collection of newspapers and magazines, literature, history and art books, and a large selection of guidebooks about Florence, Tuscany and Italy, as well as a rich collection of DVD and VHS videos are available in our library to be enjoyed during your free time.

Internet

Internet connection Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with no time limits! Students are welcome to bring their laptops to connect with our wireless service.

Sporting activities and leisure time

We organize soccer games and participate in tournaments with Florence’s universities, as well as provide information on where you can practice your favorite sport and the cities gyms and pools

Ticket booking

We can book tickets for museums and exhibitions in Florence.

Free time and Events

Florence is filled with activities and events from wine and olive festivals to themed parties at local restaurants and pubs. We provide students with the current events in Florence and its surroundings, such as public holidays, fairs, concerts, opera events and seasonal highlights. Moreover, we organize field trips and excursions in Tuscany and other Italian regions. You will get special discounts on treatments and massages at the SoulSpace wellness center, a charming atmosphere to regain wellness and balance — located in the heart of Florence with us in Palazzo Galletti.

Health

In case of sickness or accidents, we will provide the relevant information on the city’s medical institutions and hospitals.

Emergency number & Further services

A 24/7 emergency number will be provided to each student, that connects them to a designated on call staff member at any time of day — in English, German Spanish and of course Italian. Upon request, we are at your disposal for any information regarding further aspects related to your stay in Florence, such as insurance, barbers and hairdressers, Sim cards, bike and car rentals, parking, garages, mechanical repair workshops, itineraries and so on.
