Sculpture Course - ART SCULPTURE

20 Italian lessons + 10 sculpture lessons per week
This course allows the students to choose between a wide variety of techniques and media, including clay modelling, marble sculpture and wood cut.
The flexible nature of the course allows the participants to concentrate on one specific technique, or to acquire a diverse range of skills. For all students on the course, there will be an introductory lesson on functional drawing for sculpture.

- Polishing and Cleaning
Wood
- Technology of materials: various types of wood
- Study of tools for carving
- Choice of subject matter and realisation of preliminary drawing
- Sanding
- Varnishing
Plaster
- Metal frame construction for direct application
- Casting methods
- Final cleaning

- Schedule: Monday - Friday 9.00 - 12.40 (Italian); 15.00 - 17.00 (sculpture)
- Duration of lesson: 50 minutes (Italian) - 60 minutes (sculpture)
